iTunes 11 no store access through proxy authentication

Since iTunes 11 has been installed on my computer i cant access the itunes store.

I need access as i purchase our music for a company ipod.

I am on a business network that runs through a proxy server. Turning this off is not an option.

This is a Windows SBS network and i use a Windows 7 computer.

The following exceptions have been added to our proxy's direct access list:

  • s.mzstatic.com
  • r.mzstatic.com
  • p18-buy.itunes.apple.com
  • p2-buy.itunes.apple.com
  • p15-buy.itunes.apple.com
  • p20-buy.itunes.apple.com
  • ax.init.itunes.apple.com
  • ax.itunes.apple.com
  • ax.phobos.apple.com.edgesuite.net
  • ax.su.itunes.apple.com
  • metrics.apple.com
  • a1.phobos.apple.com
  • genius.itunes.apple.com
  • c.itunes.apple.com
  • se.itunes.apple.com
  • ax.sidebar.itunes.apple.com

Has anyone else had this issue with iTunes 11?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

iTunes-OTHER, Windows 7

If your firewall does wild cards and regex the complete list is:

^https?://[A-Za-z0-9.-]*apple.com/

^https?://[A-za-z0-9.-]*itunes.com/

^https?://[A-Za-z0-9.-]*apple.com./

^https?://[A-za-z0-9.-]*itunes.com./

^https?://[A-Za-z0-9.-]*mzstatic.com/

^https?://[A-za-z0-9.-]*cddbp.net/

Note the cddbp.net if you miss that one itunes will not open if you have a CD in the drive at launch; it will simply hang.
