    I asked a similar question recently.

    If you have photos stored on the iPod touch, then the iPod shows as a camera drive when connected to the computer via USB.

    If you don't want to see the iPod Touch as a camera drive, then delete the photos stored on it.

     

    Hope this helps.

     

    Computer Windows 7.

    iPod touch 3g (no camera on the 3g).

    Nothing at all funny about that.

    All iDevices with cameras show as a camera in iTunes.  That is exactly the way it is supposed to appear.
