I have a 2nd generation Ipod Touch, it has just locked-up on me. I don't have any functions, frozen. I can't even turn it off. Is there some way to reset it?

ICANHELP Thank you..held down power and home buttons for 10 sec...reset accomplished!
Try to reset it by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.
If this does not help, try recovery mode to restore:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
