I Would like to know if it's possible to repeat an event in iCal for only weekdays. I don't seem to be able to exclude weekend days.

The calendar app has limited possibilities for repeats, however if you make the appointment in another program the iPad app will honor that repeat.

I have to say I got the Iphone after having both a droid and a blackberry and I must say that the Ipone makes the simplest things like a weekday only calander event nearly inposable where it is a verry simple thing on the "lower end phones." I whish that I had heard more of the complaints about the Iphone before I got one. There are alot of things that are increadibly simpe on the droid and blackberry that the Ipone makes next to inpossable. I hate this apple crap. Way to much mony for no functionality in my oppinion.
You can. In the app below, you put the information for the reoccurring event you have and it is saved to your native calendar app or any connected calendar.
