Lion and ML can only BootCamp Wndows 7.
Any full installation or retail OEM (not the disk that came with your Dell) will install.
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
It looks like a valid edition for the Mac. On Mountain Lion, you can only install Windows 7 on the Mac. Also, see if your Mac supports the 64-bit Windows 7 edition > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1846?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
If your Mac isn't compatible with the 64-bit version, you will have to buy the 32-bit Windows 7 edition
Most Mac systems discussed are 64-bit these days. Darn to heck.
According to the "Boot Camp User Guide" -http://manuals.info.apple.com/en/boot_camp_install-setup_10.6.pdf. it suggested it will work with:
- Windows XP Home Edition or Professional
- Windows Vista Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, or Ultimate
- Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional or Ultimate
But not all Macs with a 64-bit processor works with the 64-bit Windows edition, and that's why the OP must check if his/her Mac works with it, because he/she won't be able to install Boot Camp drivers if his/her Mac isn't compatible with the 64-bit edition
If your CPU (AppleMenu > AboutThisMac) is Core2Duo or later you have 64-bit.
