If you have a non airprint wireless printer, go to the app store and download one of the many apps that will work via your existing computer to get to the printer.

Then your router will prevent AirPrint from working.
If you're still having trouble you ought to start your own Discussion rather than reply to someone else's, especially if it's over a year old like this one is. The information in it could be obsolete or inapplicable to your concern.
