Airport extream is not letting browsers access it

I have a macbook running os x 10.6.8. All the browsers on it (safri, chrome, and firefox) will continously load until they time out. Somtimes when I first open them i can get to a few sites and even make a google web search but beyond the results page they just keep loading.

However I have windows XP on Oracal Vbox and this has no issue getting on the internet and is what I am writing this on. But having this on or off makes no difference in osx's browsers, though the problem started a day or two after i put it on.
