I am having issues with wifi sink and home sharing not working

I have an iPhone 4S, iPad min and the latest version of iTunes on my pc. With both a device and iTunes on it won't wifi sync. That is with either device. Same goes for home sharing all is set up but won't connect. Thanks for the help.
