Help Please.

Can anyone tell me how to get around this problem please.

My husband has a Samsung tocco lite 2 phone and I have downloaded music from my itunes library, that I bought from Itunes , so I have already paid for them and when I try to play them the samsung says " file not supported" what does this mean? and what do I need to do to make them play? 😕

I would have thought that once I'd paid for this music I should be able to put it on any device, as I see fit.

I have also bought My husband a Nano Ipod I have not tried downloading music onto that yet. It only arrived today, but I'm worried about that as well now.

I am not technically minded, Computers usually hate me 😟 .

I transfered the songs directly onto the memory card, Using the drag and drop method, it shows the songs are there, they just will not play.

Thank you.

Tricia.

It probably means that the Samsung cannot play tracks that are in industry-standard AAC format, the format used on tracks from the iTunes Store.

and what do I need to do to make them play?

Convert the tracks to a format the Samsung can play. For instructions on doing this in iTunes, see:

You'll have to consult the documentation for the Samsung to find out what formats it supports.

Thank you very much varjak paw.

I will look further into this using the link you supplied.

I do wish manufacturers would all sing from the same song sheet, how much simpler this would make things,

you would think that they would all synchronise thier products by now, but no. why make things too simple. grrrr!!!

Thank you again.
