I have an iPhone and an iPad, I've downloaded a book to my phone. How can I have the same book on my iPad without paying again?

I have an iPhone 5 and an iPad, I've downloaded a book to my iPhone but I don't know how to download the same book on my iPad. Do I have to pay again?

Open itunes, connect iphone, click File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

Disconnect iphone.

Connect ipad, select what you want, sync
