I don't have the App Store icon on my doc and I looked at my applications folder and it is not in my applications. What to I do from here?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

If you want it, you need to buy a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD, install it, and then run Software Update.

In order to use the App Store, you will need to be running Mac OS X version 10.6, Snow Leopard. Your profile indicates you only have Mac OS X 10.5.8. You can buy version 10.6 here: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
