Does anyone's iPhone 4S all of a sudden go into mute and miss calls and text messages

iPhone 4S, Mac OS X (10.7)

Mine does not. Verify that the silent switch on the side of the phone is in the up position, and that the Do Not Disturb feature is not in effect.

It was the do not disturb setting I had it set from 11pm to 4 am but for some reason it affects the phone in a crazy was for muting on its own during the day. Thanks for your help
