Ok so I got this Ipod touch from my sister it works fine except for one thing the tv shows I purchased from iTunes will not play. Whenever I select one to watch I get this error message "This movie format is not supported." Does anyone know why I get this message and if they do how can I fix it.

Did you download it directly to the iPod?
Sync from iTunes?
What model iPod do you have? On the 4G and later can play HD videos
Maybe:
iTunes: May be unable to transfer videos to iPhone, iPad, or iPod
iTunes: Frequently asked questions about viewing and syncing videos
Do they play in iTunes?
Try deleting them and redownloading them by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
I'm not sure what gen. ipod touch I have I think its a 2nd gen. but again I'm not sure.Yes they play in iTunes they also play on my older ipod and yes synced them from iTunes I did not download them straight from my ipod
