Jan 6, 2013 1:34 AM in response to blairrwby Daniel Ebeck,Ok, firstly, as it says in the document you are asking about, do a reset by holding the sleep and home buttons until the Apple Logo appears.
Next, as you seem to be using iOS 5, follow the instructions here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4098
There is a further article linked from that one to troubleshoot iCloud mail: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4002
Taking these steps may result in deleting unsent items in your outbox, so you may want to copy/paste them in to Notes to save them.
