Re:Enable stereo output while retaining mic input from jambox?

Whenever I select jambox as the imput source, the output source becomes mono. And whenever I select the output as stereo, the input changes to the internal mic. Is there a fix or terminal command to fix this?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion
