Microphone not working on busuu.com

Using busuu.com (language learning) the microphone will not work. It tells me to change Adobe Flash Player settings. Have done this through System Preferences/Flash Player (having added 'busuu.com' and set to 'allow' - still not working. The dialogue box shown on website to allow microphone and remember this setting is not available (could this be only for MS Win os users). Other than this the microphone is working fine (Skype, Facetime etc.).

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Hi, I'm on a similar configuration and the mic works perfect for me on that site. Do you have the latest flash plugin installed? After making sure of that, go here:

http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_man ager06.html

and check the privacy tab (the one with the eye icon) and make sure 'static1.busuu.com' is set to 'always allow'.

Thank you so much for that, it now works perfectly! I'd been to linked setting location before but been reluctant to 'Always allow' and had preferred to opt for 'Ask first' - thinking that this would be more secure, but this does not allow you to record.
