  • Launch iTunes on your computer

  • 2

Connect your iPod, iPhone or iPad to a USB port on your computer with the device's included USB cable.

  • 3

Click the icon of your device in the left pane of the iTunes window.

  • 4

Click the "Music" tab at the top of the iTunes window.

  • 5

Click the "Automatically Fill Remaining Space With Songs" check box to deselect it. Now iTunes will only sync your device with the music that you select.

Jenn,

You have posted your question regarding iTunes and an iPhone in a forums for an application clled Numbers which is part of the iWork suite. You question belongs in a different forum. There are several reasons to make sure it is posted in the correct forum:

1) So people very knowledgable can assist

2) So others who have the same problem can benefit from your question and the resolution.

Please repost in one of these forums:

I would be more specific but there are no details regarding the host platform.

Regards,

Wayne
