Please help! I am in vacation and brought my Apple TV but not my apple remote. I have the iphone remote. How do I get the Apple TV connected to the wifi network of the resort I am at?

Whilst the remote app can be used once the Apple TV has been set up, you still need the original remote to set it up first.
Thank you. So I have set up my Apple TV- all I need is to get this Apple TV on a new wifi network. I am desperate and on vacation. Any other ideas?
Getting the Apple TV on the network is part of the set up procedure that the original remote is needed for.
Additionally, if you are in a hotel that has a guest wifi network, you may find you are required to set up your connection through a web page, which the Apple TV can't do.
