app purchases not showing up in Itunes

Hi,

I've been downloading games and making in-app purchases on the same games. When I sync on ITunes the games do not appear in my app section in ITunes library. I have a record of purchases in my account summary but I want to know why the purchases do not show up at all in my ITunes Library. What if I want to temporarily delete these items off my IPad?
