Apr 30, 2016 10:53 AM in response to tony_steadby lovecd,Hi, I got the similar problem and try to back up and delete the plist file associated with my model there. However, it won't allowed me to remove this file even though my account has admin privilege. Can you advise how did you get permission to remove yours under that extension folder?
Many thanks!

Apr 30, 2016 11:01 AM in response to freesome19by lovecd,Hi there,
Can I ask you how did you get that plist file associated with the hardware identifier removed from its original location? I tried mine, but it prompted that this file can not be modified or deleted, etc. even though I have admin privilege. Appreciate if you can give some advise.
Thanks a lot!

Apr 30, 2016 11:21 AM in response to lovecdby wizardkan,Firstly, turn off System Integrity Protection in El Capitan
- Click the menu.
- Select Restart...
- Hold down command-R to boot into the Recovery System.
- Click the Utilities menu and select Terminal.
- Type csrutil disable and press return.
- Close the Terminal app.
- Click the menu and select Restart....
Then follow Tony instructions

Apr 30, 2016 7:00 PM in response to wizardkanby lovecd,Thanks for your quick reply! However, I tried that under terminal, but it said "command not found", I try to search online but have no luck to get answers. Did I miss anything? By the way, the terminal console it gives is "terminal - bash - 80x24", and it seemed no any command can be executed here. Any ideas?
Thanks again.
