How do I create a new reminder or list

Believe it or not, Apple has removed the "+" button and the only way to add a new reminder is to scroll to the bottom of your current reminders, find a "blank line", tap it then add your info. This is really a hopeless "upgrade" and to me a major downgrade. I have hundreds of reminders going forward many years which I sync with exchange and I now cannot add a new reminder, unless I want to scroll to the bottom of 600 and add it.
Another major issue is that you can no longer sort from earliest due to latest. It defaults to the latest? Just can't fathom why they would do this? My earliest now starts at 2018.

I aggree. the only way is to scroll down adding a new task. Bummer !
