Support for Sony Ericsson W810i Mobile phone

Hi...

I'm a newish Mac user. I just got a Sony Ericsson W810i mobile phone. The only software that comes with the phone is PC software. As far as I can see there is no Mac OS X software for the phone.

I'm seriously surprised that a massive company like Sony Ericsson would not support the Mac platform.

I'd like to download all my contacts from my Mac AddressBook into my phone.

Do any other Mac user's have Sony Ericsson phones...? And how do they sync them to their Mac's...??

Many thanks

Hi, Robbie.

Your W810i is not currently on Apple's list of iSync-compatible devices.

However, there are a couple of workarounds to have iSync work with your phone discussed in this topic on another forum.

A future update to iSync will probably add support for the W810i.

I trust your Mac has Bluetooth as note (6) on the Sony Ericsson phones in the Apple list cited above indicates these support syncing only over Bluetooth.

If you have questions about using iSync, post those to the iSync Discussion.

Good luck!
