Uninstall/Reinstall HP 309g-m printer

Without the actual install cd, how can you uninstall the hp photosmart 309g-m printer (which I know how to do,) and then reinstall it? I'm having issues with the printer on my 2007 era MacBook. With my other newer 2 MacBook Pros, which I installed Mt Lion on, the process is easy.

MacBook Pro and MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.6), iLife '09, Canon ZR 800 mini DV video, Canon 5D still

Hi KMF,

You can install the printer by clicking the "+" button and adding the printer. It will prompt a driver install via Apple Software Update.
