IPhone5 not supporting older apps???

I have a older IPodTouch, 2nd or 3rd gen., and have recently purchased an IPhone5 and synced the phone and downloaded everything to it as well. When I go into and play the apps(games), the voices "skip" like an old LP and play like they are in slow motion. How do I fix this?
