You should never download an operating system from a website other than the one of the manufacturer. Purchasing an actual disk through a website is a bit safer, but it is hard to determine the authenticity of the disk. There is a possibility that Apple may still have a copy if you call them.

I called them they said no I also dont have visa or MC to get it
In that case, it would seem you must resort to eBay; be sure to only buy from a seller with 95% feedback or greater with lots of ratings.
no prob thanks
not sure if this is lepard or lion but on ebay I dont know if it will work I put in 10.4.11 afew cd show up.
You are quite welcome.
To expand on SJF's excellent advice, ANY offer for downloadable Mac OS software other than from the Apple AppStore is pirated, illegal copying and often is corrupted with malware. People have been ripped off and found the illegal software basically trashed their computers.
Beware what sounds too good.
thanks I did not make copys anyhow there is nothing wrong with it now. I just thought Id Get advice.
once I get my Mac tablet from friend I prob get rid of this low end power mac laptop.
While I don't condone piracy, this has been going on since the 1970's and 1980s.. I am sure we all are guilty of this. One day a friend of mine asked if I had Mountain Lion. I said, "Sure, I have it, but I am not going to copy it for you, go to the App store and buy it for 19.99".. Geez.. if people can't afford that then there is a problem now, isn't there?
But, seriously.. If Apple no longer has Tiger for sale, Allan's advice is ebay or you could try Amazon.com
I wonder if Leopard is still available through Apple's SOS?

Yes... especially if they could afford the Mac in the first place 😉
