Go to https://expresslane.apple.com . Click 'More Products & Services'. Then click 'Apple ID'.
In the next page click 'Other Apple ID topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'. Click 'Continue'. Choose an appropriate option in the next page.
When you have got this sorted out, make sure to add a non-Apple address to the account to prevent this situation arising again.

followed all on www.iforgotmyid ..... filled out all but when it came to fill in the answer the security question which i had saved separetly, the response remained negative. I want to keep @mac.com address since i use this for work. I had opened a new account @yahoo.com as requested by appleso they could send me the information for restting my blocked e.mail address but i got an e.mail to verify my new e.mail address and that is all. Nothing about how to reactivate my @mac.com address. What can i do?

It's a really bad idea to post your email address - it's an invitation to spam - and I've asked the Hosts to remove it.
