Aloha, I have a CD-Rom from 2001 that i very much want to access but cannot because i no longer have "classic." There are a variety of video and text files. What is the best way to convert? Any help is greatly appreciated. mahalo.

p.s. The files have the extension .dxr

Basically you can't access them any more. You will need to use a Mac running OS 9 or below to access them, or use an emulator called SheepShaver.

Buy a cheap older Mac like an iMac.

Thanks fort your comments. Actually i found an answer online and it was pretty simple to access them. A file freeware converter, AnyVideo Converter, imported the .dxr files and converted them to .mp3 s. aloha
