I think it's the problem I've got!
I followed the instructions and when I came to the step "Repair Disk" it found a file that it couldn't repair. It was a file in "ARD Agent". Is it right that it's a program for looking in a another persons computer? Could it be a hacker who couses this to me?!
Apologies - I guess you noticed my typo, that should have been Kernel Panic!
Anyway, I'm not confident on suggesting the best way forward but try starting in safe mode:
If that works, it may help to download and re-apply the combo update for your OS which, if it's 10.8.2 can be found here:
I totaly blew out my harddrive and reinstalled OS again. Now I think it works again!
I don't exactly know what the problem was, but I guess it was Microsoft Office who was the thief.
The problem can be solved, but I whait to close it for another weeks. That's just to be sure the problem don't come back again!
Sorry to be late to this, but that did look like a kernel panic, but I can't tell from the fuzzy picture.
When you said it couldn't repair ARD Agent, I believe you were repairing Permissions, not Repair Disk, but again, I can't be certain. If you need to repair the disk in the future, make sure you choose the correct Repair button.
