Getting a new iPhone 5, need information...

I've ordered my iPhonw 5 from Apple and the order is currently processing. How can I keep only my messages, photos, calendars, notes, music and Whatsapp information/photos/chats to put on my new iPhone 5 from my 4S?

Also, this isn't vital but it would be helpful if anybody could give me an answer. I ordered the new phone around noon on Friday, and the order is still processing now. Does anybody have any idea when that will change and it will ship, or when I can expect the phone to come?

Thanks, I couldn't find this when I had a look...

The thing is though, is I want it set up as a new iPhone but I just want my messages and photos etc. I don't even want my old wallpaper or anything, just the things I value such as messages from people and you know what else,

Sorry, but the restore from backup process is all or nothing, & this is the only wat to restore messages to your new phone.

You can backup your photos to your computer and should frequently do so anyway, To restore your messages back to your phone, the only way to do so is restore them from your backup like wjosten stated, you can save them to your computer if you wanted. I found this article on doing that. Good luck
