Return to Apple if you buy from Amazon?

FYI I ordered mine through Amazon yesterday to take advantage of the rebate and no sales tax and their estimated shipping date is May 31-June 14.

I should also add that I ordered the 17" which is not out yet, they are shipping the 15" now.

If they deem a replacement to be needed, yes. Most likely repair. But don't worry about it, you will get a perfect one anyway. Read the Amazon reviews. Almost all of them are positive. It's only when you come here, that you hear the bad. But that is what people come here to do, complain and troubleshoot.

I would never buy from Apple. They have restocking fees, charge tax and don't have any special deals on new items. Always go with amazon - they have great return policies, extremely fast and inexpensive shipping, great prices and don't charge sales tax. You can't beat that.

If you have a problem with your new 'book, and I hope you won't, you just return it to amazon and they'll send you another one as soon you email them the tracking number of your return. They'll pay for return shipping too. If you sign up for a free three month trial of their premier service, you'll pay 3.95 for next day shipping or free second day shipping. If they need to send you a replacement, they'll use the same shipping method you chose.

I love amazon and buy all my expensive technology from them. I've never been disappointed and always feel confident when I make a purchase from them.
