Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
The Wi-Fi on my iPhone 4S (6.0.1) is greyed out and Bluetooth is not working either (being busy forever). This happened somewhere in the past few days.
I tried Reset Network Settings and Restore to factory defauls (using iTunes). Nothing works.
Settings -> General -> About -> Wi-Fi Address shows N/A.
Please help.

Exactly the same problem, just happeed suddenly, never had a problem with it before....

After seeing this thread (370.000+ views, 2.500+ posts) I can only conclude that Apple broke something in the iOS 6 update:

It seems related to some nvram variables as I came across a post that links to this page:

But that requires a jailbreak. I've never jailbreaked my iPhone before and I'm not going to start now. I just hope Apple releases iOS 6.1 soon, which hopefully fixes this issue.
tried reading the post but apperrently im not authorised?? can u give me the jist of it im having the same problems, wifi was working fine untilli tunred it off and now its just all greyed out

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
I had the same problem and tech support told me that it's the hardware problem. They told me the wifi component broke so they can't do anything unless u still have warranty or else you still have to replace it I guess.
In the vast majority of greyed-out WiFi cases concern a faulty or broken hardware. The only thing you can do is go to the Apple Store and get your iPhone fixed or replaced.
