iTunes Match Songs Not Purchased from iTunes
Hi there,
So today I purchased my first laptop: the new MacBook Pro with Retina Display. WIth it I bought iTunes Match, as I heard I could use it to replace songs purchased elsewhere with the high quality iTunes Store versions; essentially keeping every song I owned but upping the sound quality on a few hundred of them. I own an iPhone 4S, and I figured after syncing my iPhone's music library to my new MacBook, I would download iTunes Match. I couldn't figure out how to tranfer my music from iCloud to my Macbook, and after half an hour, I decided to skip to purchasing iTunes Match. Well, as soon as I downloaded it I was prompted on my iPhone to turn it on. When I did the 200 songs or so that I had purchased elsewhere disappeared, and that was that. I'm assuming I did something wrong, or am not seeing something I should, but as of yet, I'm completely at a loss of what to do. The reason I bought iTunes Match was so that these songs would be replaced with higher quality versions, and instead they're gone. Any help solving my dilemma would be much appreciated, thank you.
