do you charge 8 hours for ipadmini first use?

i might get my ipadmini this week or next week, so just wanna know bout this =)

iPad, iOS 6.0.2

It does not matter when you charge it or how much.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities

The iPad needs a lot of time to be charged, but it's less than 8 hours. When the battery reaches 100%, some people recommend to leave it 1 hour more charging. I do it and it works properly
