Mac Office 2011 crashing under ML - a possible solution

I've been using Mac Office 2011 for a while, under SL, Lion and ML. As reported in these columns for several months I also experienced the very annoying crash of MS Office 2011 right at startup. This pb started just after i bought a MacPro in July 2012 (3,33 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon, 32 GB ram)
