Add native RSS and we will install this version of Safari 6.0.2!

Don't hold your breath - was there a question in there somewhere?

You are not talking to Apple, just other users. Apple has provided no indication that RSS is ever coming back to Safari.

Your only option is to install some 3rd party RSS reader. There are many to choose from. I even wrote my own RSS feed reader that is integrated with Mountain Lion's new notifications. Instead of checking some RSS reader all day, just sit back and wait for notifications. You can download it from: http://www.etresoft.com/etrefeed

PS: I will have a significant upgrade available in a month or so. There is a possibility that I could get it back into Safari via a plugin.
