Best app to remove a virus on my iPhone 4s

I'm 99% sure there is a virus on my phone. When connected to iTunes there is a large chunk of my phone taken over by something iTunes can't describe. It's marked as other in my usage bar. I've tried everything to get rid of it but I have this feelings it's a virus sitting dormant on my phone. What is the best app to remove this type of thing. I've done multiple virus sweeps on my laptop but it can't find anything hidden that way. If anyone can help I would very happy. It's eating my data and my storage space!

It isn't a virus. It is corrupt data from a sync. To clear you will need to preform a restore, first from a backup, and if that doesn't work, restore as new.

What stedman1 said. However, depending on how big it is, it may be normal. Other is all of the data on your phone that is not in one of the listed categories (Audio, Video, Apps, Books, etc). With iOS 6 2 GB is not unusual for Other.

I have tried this. What ever is in my phone is in my backup. I have had my phone replaced for other reasons twice and this issue still exists. What ever is sitting there is taking up 5.3 gbs of my phone. I believe what ever it is, is also connected to my iTunes.

In this case you will need to restore as new, not from the backup.

So will this cause me to lose all my info, contacts and apps? Basically I have to start fresh right?

Unfortunately, yes. You will need to reload all your content from your syncing computer.

If I wipe it and restore from the last back up will I not still have the same issue?

You will if the corrupted file is in the backup file. That is why you will need to Restore it as new and manually reload your contacts, music, apps, etc.
