Is iTunes endlessly saying "Accessing iTunes Store"? Or is something a bit different going on?
That's exactly whats going on. My original question was a little vague. I can access iTunes but can not open the store. It looks like it's going to open but keeps scrolling and says what you said.

With those symptoms, I'd try the following document:
