I'm considering adding MiFi service to my AT&T plan. I have a G5 running 10.5.8 connecting to my satellite ISP (slow!) via Airport wif. I live in a semi-rural area with no access to broadband, DSL, etc.
Even tho ATT specs call for 10.6 minimum OS, I don't see why connectivity would be an issue.
Wondering if anyone has successfully connected Leopard to an ATT MiFi device?
Hi Peter, I have not done it, but it does seem that "Wi-Fi® connectivity 802.11 b/g/n" would include about every OS.
Perhaps the other "Media" features are what requires 10.6 or more!?

BDAqua, there is no 802.11n connectivity for PowerPC Macs. You can though connect to any 802.11b or 802.11g device with a PowerPC Mac running 10.5.
Thanks, but they list it as b/g/n compatable, and no Mac running 10.6 or more is likely to be using b/g. 🙂
