When i backup my ipod touch info to my new iphone does the progress of my videogame or app bakcups?

I buyed a new iphone5 and i want to sync my ipod touch info to my new iphone5 and i know how to backup my ipod touch but i dont know if it will backup all the level or progress i have in a game or app?

iPod touch (4th generation), iOS 6.0.1
