all i want to do is manually remove (delete) music from my iphone,
and then manually shift music across.
not have to setup autofill from a playlist and wait for it to snyc for 5 hours !

View > Show Sidebar
Select Device in the lefhand column. On the Summary page to the right Scroll down and select the Manually Manage Music option
Apply
Then you will be able to do what you want
