iTunes latest version not opening

When syncing my iPhone with iTunes the application froze. This has left my iPhone with apps half-installed (ie useless) and iTunes unable to open. I am running Windows 7 and this seems to be a known problem. There is a fix and an alternative fix offered by Apple. I have tried both with no success. I then uninstalled my entire program, and reinstalled. That did not work. Then I tried both fixes again, and they did not work. Is anyone experiencing this? Does anyone know of a fix that works? Currently I have an iPhone, and iPod Touch and an iPad which all are now less and less useful due to this. Help!!!
