My mac book pro is registered unde my icloud address, but all my other devices are registered under my active apple id. Is there any way to change my mac book pro (spring 2011 version) over to the active id without losing my upgraded ios?

If you purchased OS X with your old Apple ID, you will have to use it in order to reinstall OS X on your Mac if you need it.
If you want to register your Mac with a different Apple ID, open http://supportprofile.apple.com, login with your Apple ID, choose the Mac and press "Unregister". Then, login with your new Apple ID, press "Add Products" and type the serial number
