Smart Playlist Help

I have created many Smart Playlists, and I think they are great! Some of the lists have many conditions in them. My questions are ...
How can I backup the Smart Playlists so that I can restore them in case of computer failure? I don't mean just the list of songs in the list. I want to restore the actual conditions that make up the Smart Playlists without having to recreate them.
Can I transfer the Smart Playlists to another computer?
I have already tried to export the Smart Playlists, and then restore them, but they restore as regular playlists - not as Smart Playlists. I searched, but couldn't seem to find the answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
