why does my note section not have a done button when i am finished my note
why does my notes not have a done button on the keyboard and wont save it for very long when i make a note

The Notes application in ML does not have a done button because it does not need one! Even if you finish typing and quit straightaway the note is preserved. Notes saves your note automatically without you have to do anything. And if you have iCloud set up to sync the notes it will also do so automatically.
