Q: Volume expansion fails

Hi,

I'm trying to do a capacity expansion on an XSan 3.0 volume and having some issues. cvfsck -nv comes up clean, and I've run cvfsck -wv just for good measure. After creating a new storage pool and adding available LUNs to it, the expansion attempt results in a series of the following error messages, with the eventual result being failure:

Jan  7 15:36:09 pmdc.lan xsanmgrd[529]: xsan: [529/B0419B10] ERROR: int index_of_local_fsmvol_named(int, NSString *)(MYSAN): SNAdmin_NSListFsm(0) returned 3, error

Jan  7 15:36:09 pmdc.lan xsanmgrd[529]: xsan: int index_of_local_fsmvol_named(int, NSString *): SNFS Object Exists Error

Jan  7 15:37:10 pmdc.lan xsanmgrd[529]: xsan: [529/B0415700] ERROR: int index_of_local_fsmvol_named(int, NSString *)(MYSAN): SNAdmin_NSListFsm(0) returned 3, error

Jan  7 15:37:10 pmdc.lan xsanmgrd[529]: xsan: int index_of_local_fsmvol_named(int, NSString *): SNFS Object Exists Error

...where MYSAN is the name of the volume. Googling the error message gives nothing helpful. Has anyone seen this before?

Best Regards,

Ben
