Lost my camera icon from the iPhone 5 main screen. How do I get it back.

You cannot delete it.

It is likely:

On another page

In a folder

You have restrictions set

Check all of these.

Did you turn it off in restrictions. Go to settings, restrictions , then camera on.

IF the above suggestions doesn't work, then go to settings - general - reset - reset home screen layout.

Even though I Reset Home screen layout, I do not have Camera Icon anywhere!

Did you check Restrictions?

Restriction is disable for everything!

Are you syncing with your employer's MS Exchange account for your email, calendar, etc? Perhaps they are restricting the camera.

Did you look in all folders, specifically the Utilities folder?

Nope, I am not using employer's MS Exchange account for your email, I had a GoodApp for that. But I dont have since 2 months! I had a camera till yesterday. I rebooted phone today morning and lost camera icon!

I Reset Home screen layout, so there is no folder now. Can't even find Camera through search 😟

Can you access it from the lock screen? If so, does it work? Which iPhone?

It's iPhone 5. And yes, I can access it from lock screen and it works fine.

Standard troubleshooting...

Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the red slider. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.

If still a problem restore with your backup.

If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.

If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue.

I did all troubleshooting except restore! I will do it later and will see!
