Q: Flagged emails in subfolders do not appear in the flagged folder

Apple, this would be the intended use. I need to see all flagged email in all my subfolders. Please fix.

I completely agree, and I really hope they fix this as it is completely stupid to not show the flagged emails just because they aren't in the inbox

Doesn't work on iOS 7 either....complete crap.

iOS 7 mail is a pretty **** good improvement over iOS 6 but I can't believe they didn't fix this bug, it's terrible! Any ideas on how to fix this or get apple to fix it?

This is horrible!!  One of two things I REALLY need to work.  This bug renders that whole flagging system in the iOS as worthless.

This and the inability to send group emails makes this app useless!!

There are times when i visit the hospital for urgent medical attention and i need to show the copy of my dad's ID for claims and it is an attachment in a flagged mail but i cant access it cause ios wont keep it on my iphone and the hospital had little or no 3g coverage!

This is completely rediculous!  Flags and VIP's only work on the iPhone if you leave the mails in the inbox!  If you move them out of the inbox and then go to the flag or VIP folders they don't appear!  How can they not fix something that makes essential features unusable!

it is easier to just do the Inbox, so you must be wrong, you only really want that

Also have this problem and there doesn't seem to be a fix. I want to keep my Inbox clear but I also want to access the flagged messages in my archive folders.

As a work-around, if you search for the word "flagged" in iOS mail, it will return all of your flagged emails - even if they are in subfolders.

On my iPhone, I get to choose between "current mailbox" or "all mailboxes" for my search; the latter works for me.
