I just got a Macbook Pro and TimeCapsule to replace old laptop

I was under the impression I could use the capsule as my main hard drive for all music, Videos, pics etc through wifi. what am I missing? per the rep that sold me the gear I went with the SSD to keep the weight and size down on my Mac. but so far my itunes will not play through the capsule or I just have not set things up right. Imatch would work if I was to update my music and then delete off my harddrive but that was not my original intentions.

am I missing something, any help would be great.. thank you

Definitely not the way to do things.. wireless is slow relative to other methods of connection.

The TC has no means of backing itself up. So you will need to get a third party backup software.. as TM cannot backup network drives.

Moving the itunes library has to be done correctly..

Any other application like iphoto will have similar instructions..

But the TC starts slowly due to the green drive having rapid spin down times.. so you will often get errors that the library is not available..
