IPod touch 4th gen. won't turn on. Flashing white?

I went to enter my ICloud password (Apple ID) when I turned my Ipod back on, once I entered it it powered itself back down. I went to power it back on again and it just goes to a white screen and turns back off. It won't even come up in ITunes so there is no way to find my serial number to get my question through to technical support. Please help me I just spent $200 on this and now it won't work.

Details:

Device: IPod Touch 4th generation 32 gb

Problem: Won't turn on.

How long have I had it: 2 weeks (bought used)

Was working fine until now.

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
