I think my music files (I use Itunes) have a virus. What should I do? Are microsft virus harmful to my mac?

A windows virus will not affect your Mac.
They are harmless on Mac OS X. If desired, download and use ClamXav to get rid of the virus.

Because some of my songs were downloaded from..um, not very trustworthy places and my microsft pc keeps making virus scans! I'm thinking of buying, and probably will buy, a macair so I'm doing all the research I can 🙂
Your Microsoft PC is not a Mac. Music files such as .mp3 cannot harm your Mac, no matter how you obtained them.
What if there's a chance that my microsoft files have a virus? How would it affect my mac?
